In this pilot episode of The Science of Stuff, join Captain Coconuts and his nephew Mot Mot as they dive into the fascinating world of vertebrates and invertebrates!Using fun, easy-to-follow explanations, this episode teaches kids about the animals that have backbones and those that don’t, all while exploring the unique environments of the Caribbean. With a mix of playful 2D animation and live-action footage, it’s an entertaining way for kids to learn about science through Caribbean-inspired storytelling. Perfect for curious young minds looking to explore the wonders of nature!
The animation was brought to life using Moho Animation Software, with each movement carefully crafted to make the science fun and engaging. The storyboards were created using Photoshop and Procreate, mapping out every exciting moment. For the character designs, I used a combination of Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop to give Captain Coconuts and Mot Mot their unique, vibrant look.
The script, narration, and audio mixing were all handled by me, ensuring the story was cohesive, fun, and true to the Caribbean spirit. It was a blast bringing this project to life!
