The ‘Captain Minamata’ series is a collection of animated shorts that I developed at Efoundry Digital, focusing on the impact of mercury exposure on Caribbean communities. Created for the Basel Convention Regional Centre (BCRC), this series is part of a larger public and regional campaign aimed at educating and raising awareness about the dangers of mercury. Through engaging storytelling and culturally resonant animation, the series highlights the importance of environmental health and safety in the Caribbean.
