In this episode, we dive into the creation of my latest short, “Between a Rock and a Balloon Place.”

Between a Rock and a Balloon Place is a 60-second animated short about love, attachment, and the courage to let go. Told through the unlikely friendship between a golem child and a bright red balloon, the film explores what happens when holding on becomes harder than letting go. Part of my Motifs in Motion series, the short uses visual metaphor to capture a universal emotional experience with humor, heart, and simplicity.
